RIDESAFE Equestrian Mobile App Terms of Use

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RIDESAFE Equestrian mobile application (“App”) operated by RIDESAFE Equestrian (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1.RIDESAFE  Equestrian App Subscription Terms:

Subscriptions to RIDESAFE Equestrian are offered on a monthly and annual basis and automatically renew unless canceled.

• Monthly Subscription: $4.99 per month

• Annual Subscription: $49.99 per year

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the Apple App Store after purchase.

Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.

This agreement is between you and RIDESAFE Equestrian and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.

2. Description of the Service

RIDESAFE Equestrian is a personal ride tracking and notification tool designed specifically for equestrians to share their location with designated emergency contacts during an active ride session.

RIDESAFE Equestrian:

• Does not provide emergency response services
• Is not a law enforcement agency
• Is not a medical provider
• Does not guarantee rescue, intervention, or emergency assistance

The App functions solely as a location-sharing and notification tool. You remain responsible for your own safety decisions at all times.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use RIDESAFE Equestrian.

By using RIDESAFE Equestrian, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate account information
• Maintain accurate and current emergency contact details
• Use RIDESAFE Equestrian only for lawful purposes
• Not misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to RIDESAFE Equestrian or its systems

You are solely responsible for your personal conduct and safety while using RIDESAFE Equestrian.

5. Location Services

RIDESAFE Equestrian collects location data only during an active ride session while the App is open.

Location tracking:

• Begins when you tap “Start Ride”
• Stops when you end the ride

You may disable location permissions at any time through your device settings; however, certain features of RIDESAFE Equestrian may not function properly without location access.

6. Account Termination and Deletion

You may request deletion of your RIDESAFE Equestrian account at any time within the App under:

Settings → Privacy & Data → Request Data Deletion

Upon verification, RIDESAFE Equestrian will permanently delete:

• Account information
• Ride history and associated GPS location data
• Emergency contact information
• Stored app preferences

Some limited data may be retained if required by law or necessary to prevent fraud or abuse.

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

RIDESAFE Equestrian is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We make no warranties regarding:

• Continuous or uninterrupted availability
• Accuracy of location tracking

Voice-activated features may not function in all environments and depend on device capabilities, background noise, and user speech clarity.• Reliability of SMS delivery
• Responsiveness of emergency contacts

Use of RIDESAFE Equestrian is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RIDESAFE Equestrian and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Personal injury or death
• Property damage
• Loss of profits or revenue
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Failure of emergency notification or response

Your use of RIDESAFE Equestrian is voluntary, and you assume all associated risks.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, design elements, trademarks, and software associated with RIDESAFE Equestrian are the property of RIDESAFE Equestrian and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

10. Changes to These Terms

RIDESAFE Equestrian may update these Terms periodically. Updated versions will be posted within the App and/or on our website with a revised effective date.

Your continued use of RIDESAFE Equestrian after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

​These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law principles.
